Delete your crshdAI account

You can delete your account at any time. Deleting it ends any open introduction or chat.

In the app

1. Open crshdAI and go to Account.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Press and hold to confirm.

You're signed out on every device and your account is deleted straight away.

If you can't open the app

Email pushkar@miragesystems.io with the subject "Delete my crshdAI account" and the phone number you signed up with. We'll check with you that the number is yours before deleting anything.

What we delete

• Your profile and photos
• Your phone number
• Your face check result
• Your notification token
• Your messages, and any follow-up answers that identify you

What we keep, and for how long

• Open reports, made by you or about you, including the copy of a reported message, until the founder resolves them. Resolved reports are deleted 90 days later.
• Sign-in limits: a scrambled (hashed) form of your phone number and IP address for up to 75 minutes after your last code request.
• Face check limits: a coded count of your selfie checks, for up to two days, so daily limits can't be reset.
• Backups: weekly copies of the database are kept for 14 days, so your data can stay in a backup for up to 14 days after you delete your account.
• Counts and references that don't identify you, such as how many introductions led to a chat, and references other accounts need for feedback and so a closed pair isn't introduced again. These no longer link to your phone number, photos or profile.

Messages the other person copied or screenshotted outside the app can't be erased by us. If you sign up again later with the same number, it's a new account.

Deleting your account is how you use your right to erasure under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If something wasn't deleted that should have been, write to our Grievance Officer. More detail is in our privacy notice.
